Monday 8th December '08

Dad took us to Terminal 3 .
Apparently, we are not there to go overseas but just to have our lunch @ Popeyes
After that, roamed around T3 and drop by Minibits
Bought accessories and got some freebies in return.
& Minibits gave us a ticket to collect candies at the Candyhouse
Mum and sis went in to get the candies
While my sis and I took photos.

Woo Hoo~
We did it!
All our hard work was paid off on Saturday.

Bused to RP. Heard all the "wows" when we stepped into the thousand seater theatre.
When we sang in the acoustic hall. The sound would stay there for at least 4 seconds.
It really helped us in Domine Fili Unigenite.

Mrs Ho briefed us on the dressing rooms to use.
She then showed us to the rooms. It was uber niceee! There were light bulbs surrounding the mirror which made us look like STARS! You know... the ones that Sharpay has.
Went on stage for practice.
Break time!~
Went to tell Mrs Ho that i needed to pass the tickets to Rachel.
OLGC came and had their practice. Sat at the back of the theatre with mekko and triynka.
They sounded well. =)
Combined rehearsals. By that time, my stomach was already growling...
Had dinner at 6++. Ran about to change, makeup and... throw away the rubbish.

Changed into gown. We were super busy backstage cause no one knows how much makeup we should put. Put the foundation and blusher myself.
Jomelle helped me with the eyeshadow, Bernadette helpd me with the blusher, Natalie with the lip gloss.
Freda's sister was my saviour! Cause my blusher and lip stick was not visible on stage.
Got her to help me with it. Her gloss thingy made my lips look so sweet and 3D. (Shall show you the pic, but cant really see it)

The sacred and asian section was quite well.
Mr Liew showed us thumbs-up for most of the songs. c:
He looked super dashing on that day with the red tie and coat.
It was different from the hongkong one.

Changed into polo tee and jeans. We were getting ready for the second part.
Had nothing to do, so went around with mekko to take pictures randomly.
Cheese!
De-briefed. Mr Liew gave us a rose each.
It is my first time receiving roses! But my rose withered today...

Just 2 more days to concert! I can't wait for it!
Wonder how it's gonna turn out. Still trying to work on the sale of tickets...
Hope that Iwill be able to sell more than half!
Choir-ed. The out of tune thing is kind of... obvious now.
It's either she does'nt realise it. If not, she just can't be bothered to sing softer.
Just hope that she will do that on the day of the concert.

~~just don't~~ have the courage to turn around and tell her. What can i do?
~~Moreover, I'm not the.... so can't really keep on telling her.~~

I'm bored.

Came back from choir camp yesterday.
Although it was tiring, but it was fun and i actually learnt new skills!(:
Then we went to the Grand Cathay to promote and sang five songs.
I was so unlucky... The lift jammed at the first floor and it was already 4.30pm!
I was LATE! No other choices but to walk down the stairs from the 23rd floor.
Was already having muscle ache and my legs felt wobbly when i was at the 9th floor.
Sat on the car at 4.45pm and it was raining heavily! Luckily, i was just in time to board the bus.(:
Haix... Priscilla couldn't make it.Altos sang out of tune for some songs and my stomach was already aching like hell after singing two to three times.
Didn't eat dinner on the way there cause the bus driver said no food allowed.
Therefore, i sang with an empty stomach... Went around the building to give out the leaflets and some didn't even bother to take a look!
We even saw someone folding the paper into half! The singing ended at 8 and my mum came to Cathay to pick me up.
But I left my bag in the office and had to 麻烦 Melanie to help me take my bag home. Thank you! =)
Went shopping after singing. Bought shoes and clothes for new year! Haha, abit kiasu huh...>.<
Cabbed home after that. =)

choir-ed today. mekko didnt come (sick?)
mr liew talked to us abt the tickets. he has had high hopes on us but we let him down. he is kinda disappointed
in us, or maybe, himself for trusting a new choir. just dont understand why pple want to tell bad abt him. he is a good conductor. we cant possibly afford to lose such a professional and good conductor. even ms lim dont want to take us): we are not even disciplined... maybe that's the reason why ms lim dont want to take us and we aint improving . when she is not conducting, we talk. even when she is conducting some are still talking! so, when she wants us to improve on something, we dont listen and in this case we dont learn! we just stop and stay there.

we should'nt take things for granted. as mr liew said, he had never brought a choir out in less then a year or so. we are probably the first choir that made him do that. he thinks that we have the potential and the ability to do it. but we let him down. we are also the first choir which is going to have a public concert when mr liew has only taught us less than a year. he thinks highly of us but there are still people who critisize him.

yes, he is strict. but it is for our own good. if he doesnt pick on the most little things, we wouldnt even learn wonder what those pple who wrote bad abt him are thinking. they think they are already very good?!
if they are good enough, then we wont even need a conductor. the school hired mr liew and ms lim to help us, NOT ~~torture~~ us. why critisize mr liew? and without mr liew, we wouldnt be able to go hongkong for exposure.
we wont be able to hold a concert too!

mr liew is considering whether to still take us after the concert. the answer is kind of obvious! unless something that made him change his mind or just some miracle! if he cancels the night practice during camp,
then we will have no conductor. which means----no conductor, no audience, NO concert! then whats the point when we work so hard and nobody wants to watch it and no conductor to conduct it!?

never felt so stressed in choir before. i then realised that i was using
throat voice to sing. damn tired but still have to continue "kicking"
and "pushing" my stomach muscles. did not have enough air to sing
two of the songs.. wonder what im gonna do. went out of tune yesterday
and altos was being "taught" the most! hope i can still rmb the techniques
that were taught yesterday.

disappointed. not able to go to campus. hopes went high and it went down
again. friday night, in the process of preparing, mum last min say dont go.
sat morning, she said can go. and its like i wasnt prepared yet. used the
whole afternoon to prepare and evening she say dont go again! WTH!
angry and sad... she said studies was more impt and its just wasting time
to just queue up for so long and just sing a few songs. she's right. studies
is of course more impt then singing. maybe i should join when i am older...

im gonna miss choir prac on friday. mum last min said that we are going
malaysia for three days. i cant possibly miss the prac this fri! there's dance
prac! if i dont go also cannot, cos sis starting holiday work on the 18th and
that's the week where choir had three days with no prac. why cant she just
start work later?! just because of her work then i have to miss 1 choir prac.
maybe to my mum its nothing. but to me it's like so impt! missing one prac
can actually miss quite a lot of things. and that EOY concert is just two more
weeks! she just cant understand... what can i do? cant she be more understanding?

went to watch Sing to The Dawn with triynka and mickey!
the show is quite alright... not much excititng moments.

choir-ed... mr liew changed our positions. now im
standing beside evonne and geraldine. standing in
between one sop2 and one alto not very sure whether i will
follow sop2 or not... im scared.=( triynka not standing with me
and i just feel so weird... i always depend on her on my tune
and my loudness. mr liew asked her go to the fourth row
and then now i sing kinda soft. cant really hear myself now...
i really hate it! so have to do some "homework" so that i can be
certain bout the notes.

went riverale to have lunch at KFC. ate shrooms burger meal
and i scared triynka cos i told her tt it was beef then mekko went
to confirm and luckily it was chicken!yay! then passed by the 136
bus stop and saw 88 at the traffic light. mekko asked whether to run
or not. we ran in the end... if not we will not be able to make for the
movie... after eating stomache gone but after running it came back!
felt like dying when we were on the bus and i swear i will nvr wear
flats to run again. it hurts everytime when i run in tt pair of shoes.

bought the tickets and mickey surely thght tt i was suah-ku cos
i was damn excited when i saw the tickets coming out of the hole. >.<
went mini toons to buy sweets and i smuggled it into the cinema xD
during the commercial time i guessed i make a lot of funny noises
and i laughed and talked damn loud heehs. mekko was like so
embarassed to sit beside me =) she kept covering her face. then
triynka was giggling and there was a commercial with a weird sound
and i thght that she sound weird. >.<>
throughout the whole of the show and i was cold and thirsty. cant
blame it... cos im a sweet lover! xD

triynka advised me to drink loads of water when i go home and i did!
heehs im a good girl! i drank and ate too much sweets which made me
too bloated and i skipped dinner :) only drank the soup and ate some
veg... the day was spent well and we took 4 pics =) we shld go out
again! to watch beverly hills chihuahua! its coming out on 20 nov.
its a show bout dogs. anybody wanna watch?
